Are You Different? (Are You Capable?)

  • Being busy doesn’t differentiate you.
  • Difficult cross-functional colleagues with whom you must work isn’t unique.
  • Operating with too few resources isn’t special.
  • Being challenged in achieving work-life balance isn’t distinctive.

Complaining is common. It’s easy to believe you’re the only one who has things so tough. But you’re not.

Circumstances don’t differentiate leaders. Your response does.
